As long as we’re all talking Portlandia, have I got a self-referential thing for you. I got the latest New Yorker in the mail today, and thought immediately, ‘Oh I’ll read that Portlandia thing finally.’ I hadn’t read it when it was on Tumblr before. Which of course made me think of the funniest sketch on the show.
Bonus points for “Did you read that thing in Paste about The National”. (Because that is so Paste.) And also because the sketch is like a Mr Show style framing device for the episode. So smart and clever.
This sketch caused me actual physical pain.
