I’m screwing around with GIF Brewery right now. This is from a film that Bruce took when we went to Japan in 2004; we happened upon the National Culture Day festival at the Meiji Shrine park, where these two guys were making mochi the old-fashioned way.

My favorite bit is the Shibuya pedestrian intersection visible about 2 minutes in. Tokyo from on high is frankly not a very attractive city by day, but it’s truly transformed at night, as you’ll see here.

I found this saved in my “random images” folder as “Cat Care 101”. No idea where I got it from, and if anyone recognises it, I’d be ever so grateful for an ID.
Mostly I just love the cat’s expression in the first picture in the fourth row. At work, I often feel like that cat looks.
