“Two Bits” or “You Missed a Spot”, by Dave Sim, Michael Zulli, and Gerhard, originally published in Cerebus #154. The completed piece was to be auctioned to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
Craptacularly scanned in my me. How does one deal with the bleed-through effect on this old newsprint-ish stuff, or do you just suck it up and accept it as part of the charm? Also, these old Cerebus comics have yellowed spectacularly in the intervening 20 years.
But. Victory! The comics filing system prevails, again.

From the Sweeney Todd “Penny Dreadful” that came with Taboo #6. (Any other 1990s oldsters remember Taboo? Aka Steve Bissette’s irregularly-published comics magazine where the first bits of From Hell saw the light of day.) Art by Michael Zulli, text by Neil Gaiman. A taster for the Zulli/Gaiman Sweeney Todd comic adaptation that never was (except on some back shelf in Dream’s library). Via Forbidden Planet International blog.
